About the role

Exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and commercially astute, qualified ACA to test themselves in a Venture Backed ambitious Start up in the Consumer Health Tech space.

As the right hand hire reporting to an experienced Consumer Startup CFO for the business, you will be supporting the building of a world class finance function, responsible for enhancing the quality of all information provided to senior stakeholders, as well as improving key internal controls and processes capable of supporting this fast growth business as they scale internationally (EMEA and North America as a primary  

What you will be doing

• Management of external finance function with full overview of transactional finance (AP/AR/Payments/Recs/Payroll) and automate where possible using technology
• CAP Tables, EIS and Investor decks with our CFO
• Review of consolidated monthly management accounts and annual statutory reporting
• Tax work including R&D, VAT etc
• Analysing key SaaS matrices including CAC, LTV, ACV, CHURN, ARR, MRR etc
• Create business cases to support commercial decision making, including geographical expansion and potential new product launches and pricing analysis
• Development of reporting including cashflow reporting and management accounting packs
• Preparation of materials for Board packs and meetings
• Support for fundraise back office- data room, financial modelling and investor queries
• Lead on statutory audit process
• Ad hoc analysisWhat you will need· Qualified ACA/CIMA accountant (up to 2 years PQE)

What you need;

• Start Date ASAP
• Experience of working with startup or scaleup businesses, either in an in-house finance role or if coming directly from practice then having worked with small companies as client
• Experience working in a global business that has scaled
• USA Experience (Nice to have)
• Proven experience designing and developing finance processes and workflow
• Advanced Excel, modelling and Powerpoint Skills
• Organised and an excellent communicator, both written and oral
• Strong technical reporting experience
• Solution focussed and the ability to work through problems logically
• Highly motivated, hard working and able to work towards tight deadlines
