Mission

Seeking a dynamic Chief of Staff to serve as a right hand to the CEO, drive internal/external communications, and spearhead certain strategic activities (including ESG strategy and public affairs). Fluency in French and English required, thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, with potential for rapid career progression.

As Chief of Staff to the CEO, you will be in charge of :

  • Strategic Support: Partner with the CEO to manage priorities, schedules, and communications for company alignment. Take on the responsibility of managing special projects or initiatives.
  • Meeting Preparation: Coordinate executive meetings and track follow through, prepare board meetings, provide strategic insights, and oversee significant internal and external meetings (investors, key partners and clients, internal all-hands, etc.).
  • Communication: Organize and prepare internal communication and CEO's speaking engagements at industry events and conferences. Represent Company in meetings, presentations, or other events.
  • ESG Strategy: Lead implementation of ESG initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals.
  • Public Affairs: Develop and execute strategies to advance Sweetch Energy's mission, engaging with government officials, industry stakeholders and advocacy groups.
  • - Fundraising: Collaborate with CEO and CFO on fundraising strategy and execution.

Profil

  • Master degree, ideally in business, engineering or political science
  • Fluent in English and French; impeccable oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in project coordination, corporate or chief of staff roles
  • Interest for ESG principles
  • Familiarity with public affairs strategies and government relations
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a proactive approach to tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of a wide span of complex strategic and regulatory matters
  • Fast learner, proactive behavior and entrepreneurial mindset (pragmatic, hands-on in execution, ability to take decisions under uncertainty)
  • Tech-savvy, proficient in online productivity and collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of climate tech and renewable energy sector is a plus

CDI – based in Paris – competitive compensation based on profile & experiences - English and French fluency required.
